BECOME A MEMBER

Becoming a Reeling member means you are contributing to one of the longest-running LGBTQ+ film festivals in the world. Members are critical to Reeling’s success and your support allows us to continue our mission to bring the best LGBTQ+ films from around the globe to Chicago for local audiences to enjoy.

As a member, you will receive great benefits at any level such as discounted and complimentary tickets, priority seating, and merch. If you have any questions regarding membership, please contact reelingcustomerservice@gmail.com.

How to Receive Members’ Discounted Tickets, Passes, and Comp Tickets:

Please note that memberships must be purchased in a separate transaction prior to buying discounted tickets, passes, or claiming free tickets or passes online. After you purchase your membership on Eventive, log out and then log in again when you are ready to purchase discounted tickets, passes, or to claim complimentary tickets or passes. You will receive an email confirmation with a unique QR code. For day-of tickets, bring a printed or electronic copy of this order confirmation with the QR code to the theater the day of the show that can be scanned in exchange for a ticket. When tickets have not been reserved in advance admission is not guaranteed in the event of a sell-out.

Member Badge:

  • Your commemorative Reeling43 member badge can be picked up at the festival will-call table on Opening Night.

  • Your badge gives you access to the Members Line for priority seating at in-person theater screenings. Show your member badge to volunteers at the theater for access to the members line.

  • To receive your member discount on in-person tickets on the day of the screening, present your member badge at the box office.

BASIC MEMBERSHIP — $55

  • $3 discount on all screenings (limited to one discounted ticket per screening)

  • Discounts on passes ($10 discount on a 5-film pass, $15 discount on a 10-film pass, and $20 on a full-festival pass)

  • Priority seating

  • Discounts on festival merch

  • Free festival sticker

CREW — $100

In addition to basic membership benefits for one person, Reeling crew members receive:

  • 4 free admissions to Chicago Filmmakers' screenings

  • $15 off Chicago Filmmakers' classes and workshops

  • CREW gift bag, including festival poster

  • Name recognition at festival

DP — $250

In addition to crew-level benefits for two people, Reeling DPs receive:

  • 5 free screenings to use or share

  • 2 DP gift bags, including festival posters

  • Name recognition at festival

DIRECTOR — $550

In addition to crew-level benefits for two people, Reeling directors receive:

  • 1 full-festival pass

  • 1 opening night screening & party pass

  • 5 free screenings to use or share

  • 2 DIRECTOR gift bags, including festival posters

  • Name recognition at festival

  • Name recognition on-screen and in the program book at next year’s festival

PRODUCER — $1,000

In addition to crew-level benefits for two people, Reeling producers receive:

  • 2 full-festival passes

  • 2 opening night screening & party tickets

  • 10 free screenings to share

  • 2 PRODUCER gift bags, including festival posters

  • Name recognition at festival

  • Name recognition on-screen and in the program book at next year’s festival
